Kristin Schwenke Block

Kristin Schwenke Block is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans both digital art and fine art photography, blending imagination, storytelling, and atmosphere across every medium she explores.

Kristin earned her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Washington University in St. Louis in 1992, and her work has been recognized in both fine art and commercial spaces. Her art has been exhibited at the Milwaukee Art Museum and featured in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, while her commercial illustration has appeared in national publications including USA Today and People, as well as in multiple trading card series.

Her digital art collection is filled with rich fantasy, mood, and visual storytelling. While Kristin is especially known for her striking equine imagery, her creative world extends far beyond horses into enchanting cottages, whimsical witches, woodland scenes, seasonal celebrations, gothic romance, and imaginative supernatural themes. Her artwork is expressive, detailed, and full of personality, inviting viewers into scenes that feel both magical and cinematic.
