About Laurie Prindle
Laurie Prindle’s artistic journey began in the Green Mountains of Vermont, where a gift of Japanese watercolors from her Welsh grandmother sparked her love for creating art at just six years old. As a teen she became a professional artist and then earned her BFA in Communication Design with honors from Parsons School of Design in New York City. She then went on to run her own design and illustration studio, with a strong focus on the horse industry, while also pursuing her passion for wildlife and nature.
Today, Laurie lives on a small ranch in the foothills of Northern Colorado, where her Morgan horses continue to inspire her every day. They serve not only as companions but also as creative muses, deeply influencing her art. Since embracing digital painting in 2004, she now creates vivid, detailed works that celebrate horses, wildlife, and the natural world. Her art reflects a lifelong devotion to animals, nature, and the unique bond between people and horses.
